Both rappers released diss tracks that took blistering personal shots on Friday night. "He doesn't have the heart for the lying, disrespect, and animosity it requires to make an effective diss track," Pierre wrote. Later in the track, Drake references Cole's diss track and apology. At the end of the track, Lamar samples a 1994 Tupac interview to simulate a conversation between the two rappers. "6:16 in LA" also parodies Drake's song titles, which often feature location names and timestamps.

Getting Dressed for the ‘Muslim Met Gala’

Washington Square Park is known for its lively atmosphere and eclectic characters. People celebrate Eid by getting dressed to the nines, which is why some jokingly refer to it as the Muslim Met Gala. Many came to Washington Square Park wearing colorful traditional garments like galabeyas, grand boubous, salwar kameez, thobes, kurtas and abayas, some of which were accessorized with opulent jewels or swipes of dark kajal eyeliner. Others chose more casual clothes — like the comic Ramy Youssef, who wore a hoodie and a green baseball cap. On the morning of Eid, there are many large prayer gatherings throughout New York — in mosques, at high school football fields, on blocked-off streets.

Does your dog need a coat?

But all this begs the question: Does your dog need a coat? From high-fashion to high-performanceThere’s evidence of dog fashion and clothing throughout history — from the ancient Egyptians and 19th-century Paris dog boutiques to early 20th-century photographs of dogs wearing clothes. Prada's Re-Nylon puffer dog coat with hood comes in two colors and three sizes, $825 From PradaBut the transition from Fifth Avenue high-end and high fashion to high-performance and technical function has certainly accelerated in recent decades. Doberman Pinschers — along with sleek breeds like Greyhounds and Whippets — are prime candidates for dog coats because of their short hair, thin skin and minimal body fat. “Make sure the coat fits well for safety and they’re supervised while wearing the coat.

Forty-eight hours later, it seems Lyft's earnings mistake has reached meme level in business circles. My immediate thought was probably the same as most people when I heard the news: oof, that's a really, really bad mistake. In fact, in my Visa days, my wife and twin toddlers would decamp to grandma's house for two weeks because we knew I'd be fully consumed with the earnings process. While their intentions are almost always positive, it's essential to avoid team bloat in the earnings process. By prioritizing a meticulous approach to the process, companies can transform earnings season from a high-risk ordeal into a showcase of reliability and precision.

On Wednesday night, inside a cavernous event space on the Lower East Side, at the annual gala for the public art organization Creative Time, the actor Jeremy Strong said the news that striking actors and Hollywood studios had reached a tentative deal, “went around the room like wildfire.”“I just think it’s great news for the lights to be turned back on for everybody,” Mr. Strong said. “It means we can all get back to work,” said Julianne Moore, who added, “I miss my community. I miss getting up, and I’m just thinking about things, talking about things, working with other creative people.”“I miss, like, making something,” said Michelle Williams. Nearly 500 people attended the event. The crowd of actors, designers and art world fixtures, included the curator Antwaun Sargent, the designer and actor Waris Ahluwalia, the artist Taryn Simon, and Anne Pasternak, the director of the Brooklyn Museum, who was previously the president and artistic director of Creative Time.

“Selling Sunset” is anything but subtle. The Netflix reality show follows a cast of real estate professionals at the Oppenheim Group, a Los Angeles-based luxury brokerage. But as viewers continue to binge the show season after season, chatter has focused not on what the agents and associates are selling, but what they are wearing. Though high-production scripted shows like “Succession” and “White Lotus” sparked lengthy over-analysis surrounding “stealth wealth” or “quiet luxury,” the wardrobe on “Selling Sunset” is flashier — there are more sequins than pinstripes. The show’s sixth season, which premiered in May, was in Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched shows in nearly 60 countries, and there’s more to come — Season 7 premieres on Friday.

They were aided early on by the trio of drop-goals from Ford that moved them into a 12-3 lead and transferred the pressure onto the South American side. "The crucial one was the third one, which took us more than seven points ahead," Ford told reporters. Ford said all the England flyhalves practice drop-goals at every training session in preparation for games like Saturday’s clash in Marseille. "It is such a crucial weapon and we have seen before how influential they are at World Cups." "We were laughing in the change-room, out of this squad (scrumhalf) Danny Care was the guy with the most drop-goals for England.

Dupont, 26, enters his second World Cup as captain of an expectant host nation and widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, certainly pre-eminent among test halfbacks. This game is not about me against him, it is about me doing my role for the team." Smith conceded that New Zealand, like all teams, would have special plans to defuse the threat of the 2021 World Rugby Player of the Year's fearless running. According to statistics published in the Times, since the 2019 World Cup Dupont has had 9.5 carries and made an average of 44 metres per 80 minutes. "They're the most beautiful team to watch, a team that generations and generations have dreamed of," he told reporters on Wednesday.

Talking about queer persecution in the past gave activists a language with which to combat queer persecution in the present. But the relentless focus on queer persecution — while politically necessary — often has the unfortunate effect of shunting to the side an equally important history of queer joy. In my own research on sexuality in modern Germany, queer joy also appears in the unlikeliest of places. Reports from the Gestapo, the Nazis’ feared secret police, chronicled monthly fetes attended by hundreds of Berliners: queer women and trans men sporting elegant evening coats, queer men and trans women dressed to the nines in flowing gowns. Understanding how and why trans, queer, gay, bi and lesbian people were and are persecuted is vital to recognizing and combating oppression of all sorts today.

These books cover real estate and investing, business, personal development, and leadership. Intrigued by real-estate investing, Rivers took the plunge and bought his first real-estate investment property in 2019. In a recent interview, Rivers shared the 10 books — spanning topics such as business, investing, and personal development — that helped him scale his portfolio quickly. "What It Takes" by Stephen A. While much of the focus for entrepreneurs is on building a business, Rivers said understanding how to sell a business was just as important.
As seasoned real estate investors know, at a certain point buying rental properties becomes child's play. But reaching the big leagues requires some diversification, such as investing with real estate syndicates for bigger windfalls, or outsourcing day-to-day real estate operations to property managers to maximize time and efficiency. In a previous interview with Insider, Rivers shared his top three pieces of advice for beginning real estate investors. But he's also got some great insights for more seasoned real estate investors to help them diversify their holdings and reach the next level. But as they find their footing, at a certain point real estate investors must clearly define their goals.

Intrigued by real estate investing, in 2019 Rivers decided to take the plunge and buy his first real estate investment property. In a recent interview with Insider, Rivers recalled only making $28,000 during his first year of selling real estate. It taught him the expectations to set for his employees while he was building up his full-service real estate firm, Rivers Capital Group. While much of the focus for entrepreneurs is on building a business, Rivers believes that selling a business is just as important.
Analysis: German exit not as shocking as it looks

Data company Nielsen Gracenote gave them a 41% chance of failing to progress on the back of their recent struggles. The second goal was no different. Neuer saved a header from Juan Pablo Vargas but the ball deflected off the German keeper and into the net. On that occasion it was the first time that Germany had failed to pass the group stage since 1938 - which was a different format. After Fuellkrug's introduction they looked more dangerous as he set up Germany's second goal for Kai Havertz.
But if this was a German team in crisis, you would never have known and they set about their task with plenty of huff and not inconsiderable puff. Many in the arena expected Spain ease to the finish line as they stretched the Germans this way and that with incisive passing and tireless pressing. It had worked in all four of Germany's World Cup titles. Thoroughly reinvigorated from the introduction of Fuellkrug, Germany looked a different side. Eight years of tinkering following the retirement of all-time World Cup scorer Miroslav Klose was instantly forgotten as Fuellkrug led the line in the fashion of German World Cup greats Ottmar Walter, Gerd Mueller, Juergen Klinsmann and Klose.
Germany ready to end long-term striker conundrum

DOHA, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Germany's eight-year experimentation in attack looks to be coming to an end at the World Cup in Qatar with coach Hansi Flick having opted to include natural centre forwards in his squad. Since the retirement of all-time leading World Cup scorer Miroslav Klose following their 2014 World Cup victory in Brazil, the Germans have tried a variety of attacking systems mainly with wingers deployed as false nines but with little success. Youssoufa Moukoko, the youngest player at this World Cup at 18, is a striker from a different generation than Fuellkrug. While he is unlikely to start, the teenager will no doubt be deployed, especially following injuries to centre forward Lukas Nmecha and forward Timo Werner who did not travel to Qatar. Germany kick off their World Cup campaign against Japan on Wednesday before taking on 2010 world champions Spain and Costa Rica in Group E.Reporting by Karolos Grohmann, editing by Ed OsmondOur Standards: The Thomson Reuters Trust Principles.
The flow of capital motivated more investors to split from established firms and raise their own funds, but it hasn't always been easy. For years they've gone abroad to raise capital from limited partners, mostly wealthy individuals and family offices. This isn't new territory for international investors. He continues to use his personal wealth to back startups and venture funds mostly stateside, including Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and Brianne Kimmel's Worklife Ventures. Even those with ties to international investors may struggle to raise funds as fears of a global recession escalate.
